I own a 2009 yfz450r that has been sitting for more than 10 months because because I ride my dirt bike more and I'mwanting to know if I need to drain the fuel and how to drain the fuel.
Should I drain my fuel after it's been sitting for 10months plus

I would. Pull the line off the TB and point the end in a bucket turn key on switch on. Itll spray. Turn key off.
Pull tank dump out. Plug pump back in, do it again to get last bit out.
I bought a cheap little hand siphon tool from the auto parts store and it works pretty well. I'll usually drain it and put it in one of my cars if it sits for more than a month and put fresh gas when I go out.
False. Keep something in it.
You will dry out everything and that leads to cracks and deterioration once its had fuel in it.
Keep it full with an additive. Stabil and 93 or an ethanol eater are your best bet.
For STA-BIL® Storage, use one ounce (30mL) to 2½ gallons (9.5L) of gasoline, gas/oil mixtures, or ethanol blends. For STA-BIL 360° Protection, for storage and everyday ethanol treatment use one ounce (30mL) to 5 gallons (19 L) of gasoline, gas/oil mixtures, or ethanol blends.
