Can anybody tell me if the MSD Blaster can be plugged into a computer? I have always thought it does. If it does come with a cable, is the cable a special cable for the MSD or is it like a micro usb plug? How much is the cable?

Everybody is saying vortex, I think that's right on 2014 and up. Thomas Browns 2013 factory race quad had a msd blaster on it. I Need a programer, I want something I don't have to mess with, I ride year round in Michigan. I don't mind using a laptop or dyno to get it right. But once thats done I just want to ride. Temp will change +_ 40 degrees here . I here a vortex is awesome for all yfzr's , but that's a lot of money , seeing mine runs perfect right now, just know I can get way more power with the lid off and a set up programer,

2009 -16. Vortex is the key.

Msd 300$ typically or more. Dyno tune 150-200. That's probably a wide open tune. Not a tune through all stages of the tps.
Those typically cost closer to 300-400
With all the time and mapping that goes into it.

Vortex close to 500$ from many dealers.
Racing powersports is always very good to work with if you send him a pm.

Simply install and ride. If it feels sluggish lean out the trim switch.

I had a msd with a slip on and fci. It was a joke. Ran worse than before after hours of dyno time.

I done trying to convince you. It makes no difference to me. FYI a msd and no lid- slip on will not even come close to that ltr with cherry bomb. Every time you add a piggy back controller you delay the package
