any rattle can paint for plastic will work, just remember that the paint will chip off and crack and the blue will show through the paint. ive tried that route before and it looks great in the garage but after the first time you ride and wash it, you will be pissed.

i did it to my old raptor 700r it held very very well and looked so good just make sure you get like krylon plastic paint that can be used outdoors thats what i used and it worked amazing and to help it stay betyter give the plastics a nice sand with a high grit sand paper i didnt even get a chip of paint come off when i did it and rode it

I used the plastic patio furniture paint at kmart on mine and it turned out great. The stuff bonds to plastic so it doesnt scratch. Just take ur time to hang em and do like 5 coats and itll look fine. I did mine in matte black as well and im going on 2 years now and it still looks better than any of my friends plastics.

I'm sure painting plastic is fine if you only ride in the dunes and wash your YFZ with a hose. But if you ride in the woods with a lot of ground cover, tree branches etc the paint will scratch right off. Then you will have plastics that look like crap and won't even be able to sell them. Also if you powerwash your YFZ the paint on the plastic will come off.

Paint works fine on plastic, just need to know how to do it right. Just like car bumpers that are plastic, they hold up great. House of Kolor paint in the only way to go.

I have painted a retarted amount of banshees, here are some of the bikes that my bro and I have done.

i doing my plastic and im using a paint that is alomst like box liner but its a called rock gard it a under coat and its really druable stuff and flexes with the plastic and its hard to scratch with a screw driver so a tree will have a tough time geting to the blue. ill have pic up soon.
