Thats what I am thinking about doing selling the sparks exhaust and picking up one of the monsters. I want to get the all black ceramic header with the black can with the polished tip

 

Does monster give power all the way through the RPM range or is it top end. Im lookin for bottom to mid range power since I hill climb a lot

If all you are concerned about is looks you do realize you could simply have your sparks ceramic coated right?

Does the ceramic coating on the header last or does it wear off and discolor pretty quickly?

You should I have done some research on them, between these and dasa they give alot of power but a little more expensive than dasa but craftsman ship is superior in my opinion

 

Difference in the 399 and 545 dollar pipe

What is the difference in the three pipe options they have for the yfz other then price.

Well if the 399 is the same as the other two it will be the 399 for me.

 

The 399 is prolly for the standard core. Make sure you get the big core

Big Core

Whats the diff between the two standard and big core I have not found any info on the distinction between the two. Guess I would just like to know what I'm spending the extra 100 and some change for.

 

The pipe was designed with the old style Jardine in mind along with some new slick features. Basically the system can come in two different versions. One being a 2 1/4" pipe inlet to a 2 inch core with a reverse cone. This was designed with more mid and low range in mind.

Dyno tests so far have shown that it builds the torque of a low end pipe while maintaining mids, top end power and a bit of overrev on the top end. The second version the pipe can come in is a 2 1/4 big core straight through. Each version of the pipe an be swapped over the other version very easily. You can order your pipe with parts for both versions or just one. Quiet core insert is available for those who need it. The header pipe is very comparable to the old Jardine RT4 that we all know performed very well so there is no reason why this pipe shouldn't be a great choice

I just placed my order for my all black monster pipe with the drop in silencer. I CANNOT WAIT TO GET IT!!! Steve at TQS was very helpful and answered all my questions.
