Hey guys, the kits dont come with any instructions inside. we decided to go with a video instead. Its important you guys wait for this, before you try install. there is two holes you need to drill on the subframe. Important that you know the exact measurement or it wont fit right. We normally dont like having you guys drill holes, but do to everybody having the msd and there bracket, it was inevitable.

We will have the video up tonight for you. I know some of you guys should have recieved your intakes by now. thanks for the patience guys im doing my best to get them out and everything else that comes with it.

rubber adapter and hose clamps the kit comes with. Put this on the tube with hose clamps before you try to put he tube on the throttle body. its easier that way than putting it on the throttlebody first.
To get to the front hose clamp easy for tighting, looking from the back of the bike to the front, clock the front hose clamp at 9:00 . much easier to get to.

YOur going to have to drill a 1/4 inch hole in your subframe. Here is some picks.

You measure from the rear bolt hole (towards the rear of the bike) where your factory airbox used to bolt down. This is important, measure from the center of the hole foward exactly 5 and 1/2 inches to the dead center of the subframe and that where you drill. If you dont understand call me please.

Also took a pick of the bolts that come with the kit that you use for the holes you drill

As for the vent lines, I had to cut one to make it a little shorter. I run mine between my shock and swinger. Crank case breather tubes have positive pressure always so you dont have to worry about them sucking anything up. If you want I've seen people drill holes in there brackets on my old systems and push the tube in box. It's really up to you how younwant to run them. I

Take the hose clamp off the filter when you install it.Its not made to go through the hole. Then rap the hose clamp which is ewasy because its already curved. Then tighten. You should wait for the vid which i promise will be up tonight. i know i said that yesterday but forsure tonight.

How are we going to get the tunes for these? If mine gets here tomorrow like its supposed to, I'll have to install it Tuesday, which will put me 1 day away from leaving for Lorettas(absolutely no tuning time). I've got to have a tune on this thing Tuesday so I can at least make sure its going to run with it on. Thanks

IMO, best bet is to stick with the GYTR intake/filter. I always run into issues when I try to rush things.....

Nice video man, I saw this on Facebook. This is going to make the install sooo much easier for others. Especially since there is drilling in the sub frame. Some people don't feel confident to do something like that, but the video may change their minds.

FCI installed

I got my FCI today from TQS, Thanks steve. Installed easy.Watched install video first, I did opt to cut bottom of clear plastic cover thats on air sensor so that after I put the allen bolt "that was provided to bolt sensor down " in the sensor, then install sensor, I could thread allen bolt easy with my fingers making sure I didn't strip brass threads inside intake tube. As far as breather line's I tee'ed mine up at the top of valve cover, and extended exit line up as high as i could get it & then went down along side of steering stem with clear hose to exit under bottom a-arm. I think FCI did a great job on designing this system. :clap It was worth the long wait. Now all I have to do is wait for my new map steve is sending me.
