So its been over a year since I have been on my 2008 yfz 450. Recently had the carb rebuilt/cleaned and it runs great except I noticed my temp light came about 5 minutes into my ride. Coolant level has moved from full to half empty in the reservoir but I have not noticed any leaking out from the water pump weep hole. If my water pump seals are okay what else could be causing it to over heat? I'm thinking replacing the sensor and ordering a inline temp gauge before moving on to other options. Any suggestions would be appreciated!!
