YFZ450R transmission rebuild

I'm working on a 2016 that exploded a clutch plate and a piece of said clutch plate ended up in the transmission and broke a tooth off of 2nd gear. Has anyone rebuilt one of these before? Usually these transmissions come apart quite easily, gears either slide right off or are merely held by clips. This one gear on the input shaft seems like it's pressed on, and I've never seen that before with dirtbike or atv transmissions. Just making sure before I ruin a friend's input shaft and create more headaches.

Someone please give me some peace of mind before I put this in my press and hurt something else in the process. It's number 8 on the diagram. Thank you.

It’s for a 22 but I’m pretty sure it’s that same

Ended up repairing it, 2nd gear does need to be pressed off. My 20 ton struggled with it too.
