Yfz Headlight Upgrade?

I was wondering if anyone had purchased or tried the lazerstar lights that dennis kirk has to offer, part#211600 for $210. The kit is suppose to come with 2 headlights, 1 spot beam and the other floodbeam with a handlebar mount, 70 watts total (factory light wattage) I was wondering how much better this kit would be than stock. Cant decide to go with the H.I.D kit or these. Just cant c @ night :icon_cool:

what i done on my yfz was just put a HID kit in it and it helped alot but the only bad part is that u have to buy a bigger stator but the lights are way better than stock to me they were well worth the money
I just upgraded the bulbs to PIAA's and the difference was amazing

I have 35/35 ricky stator lights, improvement over stock but i feel h.i.d kit is a must. Im going to do a plug and play kit on my 450r, hopefully i can see something, and stop having to pray im not gonna hit a deer while flying down the road.
PIAAs made a huge difference for me too. like a couple of weeks ago riden dunes night time with rain and i could still see really good at night
had the ricky stator bulbs for awhile....makes a difference but not enough.

now i run the Trail Tech handlebar mounted SCMR 16's.

let me know if you want to know how i did it.
mine are quick release. i take them off during the day so if i wreck it doesn't cost me $135-$300.

and yes, you will have to upgrade the stator.

about a $500 light upgrade in total.
a little soldering.

tied with my Precision Stabilizer for the best upgrade i've made on my bike.

dude. go with HIDs. $150 for ricky stator and then get HIDs!!!! i bought them from simpleracing.com, http://www.simpleracing.com/. they are more expensive than others but are so much brighter than other kits that i have seen and they were the same watt and all that. going to little sahara, oklahoma dunes and still have people coming up to me who has HIDs and asks where i got them because they are so much brighter. just my two cents.

+1 on the Ricky Stator, but then I bought a $70 HID kit off eBay with the slim ballasts, all you need to know is that the stock housing uses a H6M bulb, it comes with a universal wiring harness that you mod to work with the 450's harness and your in for less then $225 total, and they are just as bright as any other HID kit, and you can even choose the color range you want for the bulbs.
