Hi, I'm new here and I've looked around but I couldn't find anything what is this machined hole in the block. It's right above left side oil overflow line I attached pics. It appears to drip oil but I can't figure it out.

Those are to bolt on a case saver so the chain doesn’t bust the case if it comes off

Yeah I appreciate that but I'm talking about this hole its not threaded either. This is the 3rd pic I just zoomed in and circled it really not sure what to even call it.

I have a 06 and it’s got a bolt in it

It is a case bolt
