Love the Blaster build....If they offered a 300 two stroke YFZ 450R I would buy one and sell the four stroke...LOL....Have you guys run the Blaster after the mods yet?

Build a YFZshee hybrid with an R chassis, Kilroy. We all know how you are with quality - I think you would do an impressive job with one. Everyone does the carb model, I don't think I've seen any R chassis banshee hybrids.

So I came back to a package after my dyno. An man is this some nice stuff. Its nicer than it needs to be for my bike. Matt Poeschl really outdid himself. I cant do a review like John Sousa. His review and install video is more then I can do.
But after about 20 minutes I was all bolted up and impressed.
These peak racing breathers are awesome.
I will hopefully mount up my up dated vortex mount. I will compare them side by side.

That PRP stealth tag is pretty sweet! I'm loving my breather, it certainly helped when my quad was sitting on it's top in the last race lol.

Just got my old seat back. Spend the money on a shop to install. There is zero sag to this thing. I am impressed

Well its about that time. I am getting some oil out the breather. Happened with my 38 and now my peak.
I realized that I am riding much harder and really pushing the engine. I am bouncing off the limiter much more and finding my self in 4th and 5th rather than 3rd through the same sections. I am ecstatic with the suspension and set up.

So as advised by my builder I pulled the piston at 37 hours. Luckily I did. I was pretty close to catastrophic failure. The wrist pin started to push out against the one circlip. With some serious force the groove was completely chewed up. It looks like there was no oil holes drilled on the one side.
I called JE as it's their piston. The guy advised me that I shouldn't have that many hours on it. Said about 20 max. Regardless I sent the piston back about the oil holes.
I have a new piston and cylinder on now. In the winter the engine is coming out for a full year down. New crank, seals bearings, piston, cylinder, and head sent off for refresh.

This is the groove for the circlip. Like I said , the wrist pin wanted out. So it smashed into this clip. I was an honest 5 hours from failure.
