Well The topic just about say it all. Yesterday I stalled out on a hill and down came the quad :cry . I bent my stem, I already have tag x5 and trailtech clamp. Is there any aftermarket steering stem that will bolt up to the stock bolt pattern? :yfz
Maybe you should get a stem that accomodates the 1-1/8 Tag bars. Besides, many stems have rubber dampers in their clamps to reduce vibrations. This is an advantage that the Trail Tech system doesn't afford you.
Well guyes thanks for your input, I called up RPM yesterday and they said they would take my stem and cut the stock ends of the shaft off and a weld new chromoly(I think that's how that is spelled :| )shaft back and then send it off to have it heat treated. That outta hold together. Only thing is no cool anti vibe , what is youralls oppinion on the anti vibe?
anti vibe help w/ the fatigue factor when racing/trail riding for long periods of time. i'm also looking for a stem. i see lsr sells a +1 forward+2 length stem. i'm leaning towards one of these. i have a stock stem. 1 week old if anyone is interested.
