I’ve got the alba standard peg nerf bars and was riding the other day and clipped the side of a tree with the nerfs, they ripped out of my frame and completely came off, footpeg and all. When I checked out the holes on the frame that they bolt into they are stretched out now and stripped, could I weld the pegs back on? I’m not a great welder but feel like I could weld them back on just to take it easy and ride the rest of the year and get a frame by next spring. Any tips or tricks would be appreciated

As long as the foot pegs on those are steel, Weld away. Then make a gusset that goes under the foot peg across the meaty part of the bottom of the frame. For a weekend warrior that will last longer then the rest of the frame. Just be careful if your a mx guy going big to flat ground.

It’s an 04 I got it welded today it doesn’t look the greatest but it will hold. Definitely going to get a different frame by next year though just so I don’t have to worry about it
