i think that means that your seals are bad and need to be replaced. you wanna check the impeller and the shaft for any damage becuase thats what probably made your seals go bad. do a search for "water pump" and youll probably find a lot of info. also for a service manual look for Sidewinders (a member on here) post's, he has sooo much info is his signature.. manuals, service manuals, jetting facts, gearing facts lol he has it all.
Water Pump Trouble?
this might sound like a dumb question but i dont have a manual to look it up so, i just put my motor back together and now its dripping a steady drip of coolant out of the hose thats comes out of the bottom of the waterpump, which my guess is the weap hole? i took the waterpump out of the clutch primary cause i was originally going to get that case powdercoated black so the bearings and seals came out, decided against the pc so they went right back in 2 days later. any idea's? thanks.

and if your seals are not bad you might have put a gasket or a seal on backwards when putting it back together.
