Vortex X10 help!!

Ok folks, I have bought a used vortex x10 ignition for my 2016 yfz450r. The dealer told me the bike is standard accept for full fmf pipe and air box lid is taken off. The bike was bogging badly off the mx start line so I couldn’t wait to get this fitted.
With vortex fitted the bike refuses to start when cold!! I put standard ecu back on and it starts up straight away. Get the bike up to running temp and plug vortex back on and bike starts and runs great.
I just can’t get it to start cold? I have set the tps to between 679 to 681 as was told that’s where it should be for vortex but still no cold start.
Any ideas or advice will be greatly received, cheers.
ps bought the vortex from my friend who I ride with and rode it before buying to put on my quad, loved the power and go of the vortex so pretty down beat about this.

Clean your map sensor. The vortex is great but it has problems when it’s cold. You need to try and start it with little blips on the start button, like 2 or 3 seconds. Let the sensors read the air and fuel. Sometimes you might have to give it a little gas. You could also have a void somewhere and air is getting sucked in somewhere other than the air box. When I tear my air box and throttle body off I put a thin layer of dielectric grease or waterproof grease around the edges to seal and catch dust….also helps slide things together.
check your spark plug too
