Do you expect a serious reply with such a well thought out and grammatically correct sentence outlining your plans and advice?
I can reply to your original question though:
U SHOULD USE HEATER HOSE ND ELECTRIC TAPE, USE ONE OF THE K&N FILTERS TOO. TRUCK TURBOS WORK THE BEST... THEY MAKE LOTS OF HP... JUST WATCH OUT! TOO MUCH BOOST WILL BLOW UR INTAKE MANIFOLD RITE OFF!!!
As a more serious reply, I can't offer you any direct advice to turbo charging a yfz, but heres probably some things I'd check out.
- You get what you pay for when it comes to ebay turbos
- Your best bet at a cheap turbo would be from a junkyard car.. you need to find a small one though, and that however, will be difficult. On average, the smallest car engines are 2-3 times the size of a 450cc atv, and having a turbo too large will net a negative effect for your riding and enjoyment and unless you were using this as a drag bike, I'm fairly certain that this wouldn't work well.
- Some tiny cars came with twin turbos, and if you can find that, you will be better off.
- There may be some companies that make small motorcycle turbos, but I'd expect them to be fairly expensive.
- If you want to run the calculations, you need to know how much CFM your engine flows at what RPM's and then look at some compressor maps to match a turbo to your engine.
- Planning your setup and running the proper calculations is the more important than anything.
I'd just go with nitrous, its the cheapest power adder out there.
