Hey guys i just called up trinity and they said that there pipe is pushing 12 hp and that its an all around pipe, i was wondering if anybody has one and how much they like it? I heard it sounds pretty good. Has anybody dealt with trinity do they have good support and all that good stuff? Oh yeah and what about there intake?

A 12hp gain seems like a lot for just a pipe. That would be about a 32% increase horsepower from stock. I would ask what other engine mods were done to achieve that gain. Maybe I’m wrong but that just seems like a big gain.
Trinity is known for inflated claims, under performing products and huge, giant steaming piles of bullw00ter.

Good to know I'm not the only one who thinks that’s a bit outrageous.
The exhaust itself is very nice. Good header design and bend. Very nice can and midpipe, it seems to be a good runner too. It's pretty damn loud though.
Yeah i thought a 12 hp gain is a little much for just a pipe i think ill call them tomorrow and see what kind of quad the tested it on. I really wanted one awhile back but now i hear all about the nmotion pipe and just wanted to know what everybody thought about the trinity. Anybody got an idea of how loud they are cause i just saw a clip on it and they sound pretty good?
If thats the pipe that you want then thats all that matters, It doesnt matter what we think. I would have to say that it would be a decent pipe.
OK, here's what happens some times with creative advertising....

"12hp gain over stock" Now that doesn't mean what your led to believe. It does not mean 12 hp at peak over stock... like 38hp to 50hp. What is normally means is that some where in the rpm power curve the stock pipe is really low on power..... most times after 9600rpm and between the 9600rpm to 10400rpm or at the rev limit the pipe probably does have 12hp over stock..... at that one rpm range.

As far as power and sound. I think it did good on a stockish motor that I tested it on and the sound was no louder then any other after market pipe. Now whether or not it is to loud for you or if you want a deep sounding pipe verses a tinny sounding pipe is up to you and your opinion.
Yeah its still up in the air i have just heard some good things about the nmotion and haven't heard anything about the trinity pipe. That makes some more sense terse now that you put it that way. You guys know anything about there intake or what intake would be a good one?
Terse is right... If any pipe were the cause of a 12HP gain at peak power it would be a little on the outrageous side... But you have to remember if you add power in one place you're taking away power from another place. Fact is this pipe doesnt do that. I'm deffinetly not saying that this is not a good pipe, I have no experience with them to have a standing point from. But I do think there are better pipes out there. What kind of riding do you plan on doing?

Well pretty much all i ride now is track and i want to get into racing soon so whats a good pipe for mx? Trinity is saying that theres is an all around pipe pulls the whole way through.
I see you've already mentioned the Nmotion thats one of the best on the market the only downside to it that I know of is its one of the loudest pipes you can buy. Sparks, Nmotion, and Jardine are all good pipes. I have a DR.D on mine and most of my riding is done on a track and I havent had any problems with it and its quiet. When it comes down to the top of the line products personal preference usually decides the outcome.
yeah i have heard its pretty loud im not really all that concerned with that you by chance know what db it is?
Nmotion is like 102 or 104db. Trinity is about 99db.
Yeah so i ended up not getting either i talked to Kenneth at KB and gave me a sick deal on a LRD Pro4r so i couldn't pass it up but thanks for all your help guys.
Can't go wrong there either. LRD has a good exhaust plus KB stands behind there products pretty proudly.
Yeah he was real cool ended up talking to him for like an hour and a half and just kept buying things i ended up going with a pro design k&n filter to so i hope that will work well
