Throtle Cable Help Please

Last night I jetted my quad,everythin went smooth with that, during that process I messed with the throtel cable to turn the carb bc it was hitting my exausht, so now when I start the bike it dosent stay on unless I keep hittin the gas once I stop it turns off, I'm pretty sure its. Bc of the trotel cable dose any1 know how many turns I should have it out or in please reply I'm on my way to the trails now and wanna get it fixed when I get there..
