Ummm, when you actually see chokecherry hill in St. Anthony, Idaho, you will be more impressed... When you see a YFZ450 go up that dune
This one is sent in from Sandgod, thanks!

Most raptors cannot even make it up the hill even with mods.
The only quad that can consistantly make it is a Banshee, and even some of them can't do it.
Here are vids of modified raptors trying to make it up...

Here are some piped Raptors TRYING TO EVEN MAKE IT UP chokecherry

not many can make it at all.
And if they do they usually have to get a VERY FAST RUN AT IT.
very few make it even then.
To start at the bottom and accelerate up is just plain awesome.
You have to be there to believe how steep it really is, you cannot see steepness on pictures, cameras in 2 dimensions just don't show the steepness.
When you stand at the bottom of Chokecherry and look at the top, your neck hurts, its a WALL, it is almost as steep as it gets, the dune 300 yards south of chokecherry is STEEPER and it is as steep as sand can ever get, almost no one makes it up there. I don't know the name of that one.
the last video, when the Banshee gets stuck, notice how far forward he leans? WHY?
It shivers your innards to look back down that monster.
(Oh, his angle of his body leaning forward is verticle. The picture is taken too crooked. It should be 20 more degrees or so.)
If your quad flips backwards and cartwheels, it would be totally destroyed.
I saw a video of a quad cartwheeling down a dune and it was going thirty miles and hour and looked like a wheel spinning smashing front and back till it hit bottom.
It is rare, but it certainly could happen at chokecherry.
Now you see why he is stuck to his seat, on that stuck Banshee!
so the YFZ450 going up so easy its like WHATS THE BIG DEAL?
To make it with a 210 pound rider is definitely awesome, and at a speed that he can jump the lip is amazing.
The big deal is I have never seen a bike jump the end like that before, that was an awesome climb by Buddha with that jump at the end.
To see it another way, the 500 cc dirtbike (most powerful made) was not much faster, and HE KNOWS how steep that hill is, HE said that was an awesome climb.
