I have been thinking about getting a yfz. I have a yamaha blaster now but is is not wide enough for the riding i like to do and I hit my knees on the fenders. I am looking for a quad that is faster and handles really good. My friend told me that a yfz is where its at. So I am wondering what year I should get and what maintenance I should do on it. What is the best and most reliable. And btw I am 15 and 5 ft 11

I have looked into it and the 04s- the 06s have a oil problem. Is it worth getting those years and putting in a j and t oil pump mod? Or just go for the 07

I have an 06 yfz and have never had any problems. I ride it super hard at the track,dunes and trail riding. Never had oil problems.
