This is the first hybrid we built 2 years ago.
It is still in operation.
It looks a little better now, I think that was taken right after the first test ride, I'm not sure we had even had the seat on it yet.

hell, look closer, not just the shocks, but the frame isn't the same either. if it wasn't for the engine i would venture to say that wasn't a YFZ450. date on the photo is 2002.

what is that quad? a custom?

yeah, that last one is a hybrid I built a couple years ago.

If it wasn't for building that hybrid for a buddy of mine, I would be over at EXriders waiting on the TRX

They had the YZ engines out back then. Thats probably a 426 engine.

Yeah, I guess I should have been more clear.

That is a 2000 model YZ 426 engine in a 2000 model 400ex frame.

We wnet to Lorettas in '01, and saw the hybrids taking over, so we thought we would build one.

I was just practicing uploading pictures to my site, so I threw that one up there for fun.
