Honestly................. WHO CARES...............

This is a YFZ forum. We all love our YFZ's and no Dyno will change that.

I'll admit that the KTM is a great Quad, but it's not the "best" for everybody, and neither is the YFZ or YFZR.

Now go back to your KTM forum and brag about how the KTM puts out more hp than the Yami.
The KTM is a great stock quad. For the price? You can get significantly more power out of any other 450 for less $$
w00ter ktm they cant keep up with us flat trackers ha ha ha :nono:
who gives a damn about KTM???!!!

They suck in my opinion and are WAAAAYYYY overpriced.
if i had money for a new quad id any of the big 4 450s before a ktm. id rather take the extra cash and personalize the bike.

+1!
Apparently the heckler on here ranting about his KTM is an imature inexperienced rider anyway because why else would any mature experienced rider run his mouth about other makes as he does?Nothing to even give any more attention to.
Further more don't even respond to any of them on this site. This is for yfz info anyway!
Ignore and it will go away.
Whats all impressive anyway about the dyno sheet?More Yamaha's around then ktm's anyway. If we put as much money in our yfz's as they pay for a ktm we would have more to brag about anyway.
Talk is cheap!
to get things straight i love yfz's. but i don't think that this guy put up these dyno sheets to brag about ktm's? from his sig pic he has a kfx and a raptor? i don't see any ktm. the ktm is a nice quad stock and i would love to have that kind of money for a quad but would still go the yamaha route. just my 2 cents
I dont know why everyone is hating on this guy. No where in his post did he hate on yamaha or say that he even owns a ktm! He just posted up an informative graph from a dyno that looks like is his, from his sig. So i dont know where all this hostility came from lol
ya it is a little harsh but we all ready know the ktm has more power it just kinda seems like he ris rubbing it in.

he could just show us the yfzr dyno.

ya for that extra 3 grand we could make are motor way better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i agree that the guy didnt hate on yami's, but on the other hand, last time i was at the dunes i ^@%@ed up two ktm off the line and they never caught me, and in my last race( adelanto gp) i passed those ktm's pretty easy and looked like so did everybody else. HP isnt everything, and just cause something has more hp doesnt make it faster.the R is a way better all around bike and for 3 grand less, i have bout two in mine and the ktm doesnt stand a chance. dirt wheels gave the award for best mx ready bike to the R. lets not worry bout it boys, those holloween bikes are over rated.
they KTM does make more power but i have heard that the YFZR feels like it has more power cuz of the smoothness of it. My buddys KTM sucks, it has absolutely no bottom end pull and as soon as you hit a certain RPM it just rips your arms off, pretty much a 2-stroke.
I personally liked the post. I find that information like this is much more important, and non biased then some of the magazines that do shootouts. Nowhere did he say which one was the best, most powerful quad, he just posted the numbers and let it be, and let the readers decide which quad may be best for them.

If you look at this member's prior posts, he was one of the first to dyno a YFZ450R, and said something like "another great product from Yamaha", so he supports what we all do, he just likes to test stuff. I am glad he does, keep up the good work.
Dl700 is a very informative member on many others atv forums. He owns a dyno and he's always doing lots of shootouts (cams, pipes, intakes, etc...). This is very interesting for many and if you don't like don't read it or reply...GROW UP!

exactly
thanks PIPO husker, ballsdeep,

i can say one thing for the ktm,,,,,, its not just a orange bike with a good flowing stock intake and exhaust......

if u want to knock them then spend some time and learn the details about them first...

if i were to buy another 450 it would be the YFZR for the aftermarket support and EFI
From the shootout i just read in quad a few weeks ago, it seems to be the pick of the bunch. But then again ktm's got an extra what, $3500 dollers to throw into the machine to make it that much better.

x2

All he did was post graphs of 6 -450 quads. He did not make any other comments. Cut the guy some slack.

I am glad he posted the graphs and grateful that he is willing to take HIS money and HIS time to gather this info. Not many people are willing to do this.

Thanks again for the informative post.
