I have an 06 yfz450 that I just bought and I need advice on how to or what to adjust on the stock shocks, I'm a bigger guy (260 lbs.) and I know that these shocks were designed for a lighter person lol so what i'm asking is how do I adjust the stock shocks to hold my weight while having a comfortable ride? I would like new/better shocks in the future but for the time being I need the stock shocks to work for me.
P.S. I do a lot of trail riding and occasional jumping.

im almost positive you will have to get them revalved/sprung to your weight. you will have to send them off to have that done unless there is a reputable shop around that can do it.

Definitely a rebuild/revalve. There's a bunch of good companies that will do it. Derisi Racing and BNR Motorsports are probably the best.

I've never owed or ridden revalved shocks. IMHO elka legacy series are the best bang for buck shock setup out there. I would go this route over revalving. Used them on 4 yfz's now.
