I put the Walsh block off plate on and unplugged the speed sensor nothing seemed to happen I don’t think it goes any faster now then before. For 20 bucks I had to find out but I also didn’t record my before and after top speeds so who knows.I have heard that it limits your top speed in 5th gear but not certain. Pretty sure you can just unplug the sensor and leave it as long as you don’t care how it looks.
What did you do with the cords then? Just tape and tuck them away? It's my understand that you can completely do away with the whole setup if you're running the Vortex ECU because it makes the speed sensor obsolete anyways. Only the factory ECU will recognize the speed sensor.I put the Walsh block off plate on and unplugged the speed sensor nothing seemed to happen I don’t think it goes any faster now then before. Yeah I'm going to do the same! Might get the 38 Motorsports block off plate though so I can keep all my block off plates black. The vortex disables it. I was making an order with Walsh and just bought one. I just unplugged it and zip tied the tail up View attachment 94413 View attachment 94414
