When you buy these packages does the vortex ecu come already in the suggested settings or that is up to the end user to figure out?

End user. It's like jetting a bike. You may be richer or leaner than the next guy. But you will most likely be close out the box.

You'll have a preset Duncan map that may require very minimum adjusting on your setup, but may work perfect on your neighbors YFZ.

Yes, you may have to adjust it to perfection, they're easy to adjust on the face of the controller. Just keep in mind left is lean and right is rich. If you have a lot of experience tuning carbs think of it as Low-Pilot, Mid-Needle, High-Main...

Agreed, no one has complained about the base map.
