Ok guys this thing has been out for a bit lets start sharing what we have. Post up your aftermarket parts, elevation/city, a basic map, and any dyno sheets if you have had a custom map built and dont mind sharing it that would be great, if I forgot any relevant information feel free to post it up. I will also convert and post up some other PCV maps, Hopefully this will help out some people that are not near a dyno, or just plain dont have the cash to do it. If you have a map you want converted pm me and I will convert it and post it, if it is easier you can email me your tune at [email protected] and I can add it to the OP.

My map is pretty basic right now haven't gone to the dyno yet and may not it runs really good as is, I want to wait for the FCI intake before I go dyno it. No changes to the other settings timing (I think MSD map is set already at +5 on the timing if that is correct then thats where I left it), or fuel accel tab, only the fuel map. Out of the PCV maps I felt that this was to closest thing to what I have, there are other PCV maps for Youshi & Two Brothers pipes.

1. City Phoenix, AZ elevation 1500 ft
2. 09 YFZ450R, DASA classic, Pro Design intake with K&N filter, everything else stock.
3. Map is a PCV map I transferred over M22-007-GYTR1, GYTR stage 1 (GYTR Pipe, billet air filter adapter, high flow air filter, on 91 octane)

I am going to have the same setup as you by next weekend, but how do you think your map will work with a DASA and a stock intake/Uni-Filter? Or is one of the pre-programmed ones better. I just need something for this weekend.

They have one for the full GYTR head setup it's the stage 3 might work for what you got going on. I transferred it over to a MSD map it's posted in the first post.

I think it will work fine, try it. It may run a little richer.

I loaded your map Sam for the Dasa & Pro Design ( I have a foam filter) and It worked good. I copied the +5 timing and it seemed to run a little better but we'll see what happens at the track tomorrow. I did have a small flame out the exhaust after a rev and as the rpm returns to idle with 0% throttle (only happened a few times). I will say I had a freshly oiled filter on it so that may be the problem. We'll se tomorrow.

What is a good map to run on a 09 450r w/ Hmf slip on with the free flow insert, removed airbox lid, and the Msd @ sea level?

Try mine I ride dunes 400 ft above sea level, are you running the stock air filter? Might run a little rich but give it a try. I will post up a few of the tamer maps from the PCV maps tomorrow, the one I am running is the tamest of the 3 PCV maps I have up right now.

They have one for the PCV that is for Two Brothers exhaust with stock air filter I will convert that one for you tomorrow.
Sam, You're doing everyone a great favor on the board! Thanks! I'll try to help you out after I install and play with the settings on my MSD.

No problem I feel like everyone here has helped me out with all the old posts. I have read so much I think I know 10,000 times more about my YFZ/Quads in general.

Very noble initiative Sam68.

I am trying to increase my Engine speed limited to 11,000 RPM on my custom preset but I don't know where to do it. Haven't find any place to modify. Tune 4 -> Tune 8 are all user free to modify ? I am only making changes on 7 and 8 for testing purpose.

For someone with Full GYTR race Exhaust + High Flow GYTR gauze air filter + iridium plug, I am considering a donation for a dyno hour.

I have SAM68 preset on Tune 7 and Shields preset on Tune 8.

Elevation : Sea Level
Exhaust : GYTR Full Race Exhaust
Air Filter : GYTR High Flow Air Filter + Billet Adaptor
Spark Plug : NGK Iridium Spark Plug
Fuel : 91 Octane Gasoline

To change your engine speed limit you just go to the settings tab and click on the engine speed limit and type in a new one. Also, unless you are racing and need the extra rpms so that you do not have to shift as much there is really no need to bump the limit up do to the fact that the motor really starts to fall off on power after 9000rpms. Let me Know how that tune works for you, and if it is the same as the one I just had tweaked after my dyno testing. I cannot remember who I have sent what anymore. Hopefully someone will get my tune posted on here for me bc I dont have a way of doing it yet.

As Shields stated there is not really a reason to boost up your RPM limit as power does fall off, look at some dyno sheets in the exhaust dyno threads and you will see what Shields is talking about.

Yep, a little rich at the bottom. Made some minor adjustments but that was a very good starting point.

I think I need to adjust the fuel accel at the bottom end. Not sure what to do there, I guess I need to read up on it more.

Thanks Again!!!

Dyno numbers

Notice the AFR was not reading until 6k and was not accurate until 8k which was 13. I will have it redynoed shortly to completely get it dialed in. Lets just say the baseline was 41hp with yosh pipe and quad command intake and stock ecu settings. MSD took it to 47+

Wow big increase in power, hey Shield's can you post up all your variables I know Yosh pipe, what intake, elevation and anything else that might come into play. Once your map is totally set I will post it up in the OP to make it easy for people to see all the maps. Thanks for posting this up this is what we need.

My quad has a Yosh slip on pipe, quad command intake (k&n filter with new intake tube), MSD, 93 pump gas, and I am at about 500'. I live in MO.
