What's the best rear paddle tire for drag racing in the sand. I will be mostly running at Oceano dunes and glamis. My bike is a yfz450 . It runs 45hp on the Dyno. I have stock sprockets but would change them if needed for a different setup. I don't want to much bite to slow me down on the top end. All input is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I'm thinking 10 paddle gliders?

I'd recommend looking into either a 7 or 6 paddle hauler. 45HP is good for a 7 or 6 but nothing more. Lots of things come into play for paddles as in weight, sprockets, and psi. The more paddle a tire has, the more grip it will have, but it'll lose top end. While less paddle is less grip, but more top end. Less grip sometimes in sand is better as it'll spin the wheels more. For haulers I recommend 6 to 7 paddles, and for gliders 8 to 9 paddle.

so if you are racing the hills a 22x11x8 SLS 73-74RO 10 glider would be good or a 6 paddle hauler no more thne that for 45hp.
