is it a good idea to run with the air box lid off in wet or muddy conditions?
what do you all think...

I have been out the last week or so in the snow slop and mud. I have my lid off but check it every so often to make sure there is no sign of water in there. I have been pleasently surprised that I have none. Seems to be pretty good under the seat. JMHO. Mike R. :re

it really depends. if you run an outerwear and oil yoru filter often, i think you should be fine. granted, if you are riding mud constantly, there is nothing better than running an airbox lid.
