I removed the headlights from my YFZ with a pre 06 loom, the wiring is gone nuts ?! Need Resistors to go in place of the headlights ? They can't be got here in Ireland ? Also, any alternative mods can be done instead ?
First make sure that you will need one, I run a 04 yfz without headlights and it is just fine and is still charging the battery. You can start it and then measure the battery, if it doesn't hold power then you will need one.
It needs resistors, not taking revs, sounds like a lowered rev limiter, plug the headlights back in, no problems. It's an mx bike so the lights aren't an option
