Hello I got a yfz450 2005 ran it with super low oil and next day it turns over but has super low compression ,wondering if I could just replace top end or what should I really do .

Gonna need new piston and rings and maybe a new cylinder but depends if it still has cross hatch marks

Hey do you think a top end rebuild kit ?would be best?or just home the cylinder and put new piston with new rings

I would just do a top end kit might as well while your in there.

I would at least inspect everything to a T. I would hate to rebuild a top end then the bottom go out not long after.

I'd genuinely be concerned about the crank and the cams as well as the piston and cylinder. Low/no oil is a death sentence.
