take the 2 bolts our on the rear brake. then the two bolt that hold it on the perch and pull it out. then put your blockoff plate on the rear brake.

if you dont have a block off plate then just do everything the same but instead of taking the 2 bolts out on the rear break just disconnect the cable.
or make a block off plate =)

Or don't worry about a block off plate[/b]
ya thats what i did but I might make one in the future if a rainy day comes around
I'm new to the whole block off plate. does anyone have a picture or link where I can see what that does and how to install one and make one or get one?
Well making one is going to be difficult without access to the right equipment. Buying is a lot easier. Unless you do have access.
Here is a link to the one I bought from Magic Racing
After you remove the bolts in the caliper and remove the cable, all this does is cover the post that sticks out where you removed the other parts. Just bolt it on in the same bolt holes. DONE.
Pretty easy to do. I am guessing you probably don't have a service manual, so you might want to look into getting one, not that is needed for this job. But will make future projects easier.

Whats the advantage of removing that parking brake?

looks way cleaner[/b]
X2, plus if you decide to run a aftermarket clutch perch and lever, you have to remove it anyway.

Here is what the block off plate looks like installed. They are not that expensive so if you are going to remove the parking brake might as well get one. I think I paid $15 for mine.
Additionally this is the assembly that needs to be removed to install the block off plate.
