I just orderd from yamaha oem part's a connecting rod , from what i understand the rod is 3 part's , in the script from yamaha site its number 4,5,6

1. connecting rod
2. crankpin
3. bearing


but when i look for complete set like prox \ hotrods the have included :

1.connecting rod
2.crankpin
3.big-end bearing
4.small end bearing
5.thrust washers

i missing something?

small end bearing and thrust washers are only for certain models. i think you can get a whole new crank for like $150 more, and you dont have to get the rod installed. which normally runs $100 or so.

yea , for oem its about 260$ , but its was shipped already , so i dont need small end bearing and trust washers for my 2012 yfz 450 ( carb )?

One more Q , does the 04-09 clutch cable fits to 2012 models?

I looked up the part # for a 05 and part # for a 12
when trying to cross reverence look up part #s and see if other years use the same.
part # 18P-26335-00-00 is for a 12 and the 05 is 5TG-26335-00-00 so I do not know if it is the same, only the first 3 # are different.

but i dont see any seals in my box just what showed in the pic.

its normal?
