So I ordered some go fast parts,

-CT Racing pipe
-K&N filter
-EFI box (from CT)
-Twist Throttle and cable from TerryCable
-Nerf Bars from Swick

BUT I need to know what kill switch is everyone running?

ProDesign? something else?

im running pro armor and using their plug in kit

I see Nic has already gotten his name out to some people...
What kit exactly, I used my old pro armor Killswitch(from 2008 YFZ) and I wired like motosx, but I destroyed my ignition coil.

waters racing please tell me what kit you bought and where?
My ProDesign works fine. :icon_biggrin:
I used the raptor 700 plug in kit from pro-armor. I know there has been a lot of debate about it, because you can make the same thing just as easy, but I just bought the kit.
Do some searching. Weve talked about it several times.

You know Big Nic and or Freddy?

I ended up buying a ProDesign today and Nic told me what to plug into.
I know Nic, and I have met Freddy once. I got Nic his dynojet PCV's.
I saw the Swick stuff a little while back while I was at Nic's house. Really cool ideas, and they should be really good.

I was going to run the yahama one but is the pro design better? Or pro armor? Or doesnt it matter?
I like the little handle thing the pro armor has for when you need to plug your kill switch back in. Its really handy. You can create the same sort of handle with a zip-tie on the pro design also, so doesn't make a huge difference, but it is nice. But I think they all work the same. Yamaha didn't have theirs yet so I just did pro-armor.
Still waiting on the Yamaha one myself, and have a pro design sitting here, How/ what is the proper way to wire it in without smoking the coil????????

My honda you used to groud it out, and that did the trick, but I' dont know on these new bikes? any help with a semi- detailed explination would be greatly apreciated!!!

I origianlly bought a Pro Design but decided not to install it after seeing how it works. It creates a direct fault to ground when it operates. Doesn't seem like a good idea to be shorting stuff out no matter how you do it.

Ended up buying a Gunnar which works flawlessly. It works just like the factory switch. Normally closed circuit. When it operates it just opens up the hot leg like a switch. No faults......... I feel better about it..
