Need Help With My Baffle

844 Views 8 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  swoyekr
I have searched for this but didnt find anyone that is having trouble like I am. I removed the bolt at the tip of the exhaust and have tried getting a long nose pliars in at the baffle to pull it out, but it just doesnt seem to budge?? any tips on how to do this as it seems very stuck. I have even left the bolt out hoping it will just fall out someday lol
Thanks,

let the engine idle until exhaust is hot and grab the inside circular part of the baffle with channel locks and twist back and forth while pulling it out. after a couple left to right turns it should pull right out.
Penetrating oil like PB Blaster (really good stuff, its magnetic, so it get in there. YES magnetic liquid!) might work

is this replacible? Like can you put it back on if you want? I never really messed with it before.
