I am getting ready to order all my parts to rebuild after the untimely demise of my engine. I am looking for a piston 96 or 97 mm under 13:1 compression. If I get one 13:1, will it need race fuel?

Great hook up on that link!! You guys think 12.75:1 will run good with out race fuel? If I am not mistaken I should be good as long as I keep it below 13. I am upgrading to the '07 crank and going with a 97mm bore. Let me know!

I've always hear that 12.5:1 was the limit for pump gas, anything over that will need race gas or at least a mixture of the 2.

Being as I am using the head from the '05, CP m1006, 12.5:1 for '04 & '05 should be the right one if I am correct. It is the head that makes the difference in compression from '05 to '06 & up correct?

CP advertises the m1006 piston for the '05 at 458cc, and 468 for the newer models. Since I am upgrading to the '07 crank, at 97mm will I get 468cc out of the deal?
