Nice exhaust. I wish my header came with the mounts for the heat guard. I have removed the brackets from the stock header and I think i will just tack them onto the HMF header and go with that. My HMF System was one of the Prototypes they had for the R. I have already melted a big hole just above my boot on my leathers from the header touching them. Does your exhaust come really close to the rear shock reservoir? Mine does. I put my infrared thermometer on it and after a short ride the shock temp was well over 200deg. surface temp from the radiant heat from the header. I picked up a sheet of that heat reflective material and have put that on the reservoir and that has helped keep the shock cool. Have you a comander for your R yet?

I love it, my power commander will be here monday or tues. It is the full exhaust and I'm glad they added the mounts for the heat sheild. Without a tune the bike still feels pretty damn stout, it will yank the tire right up with a blip of the throttle
i like the way those new iliftical cans look!
Looks good major. Im guessing it adds killer mid and bottom like it did on my ktm. Makes a touch less topend than the dasa though. I think its a good trade off. Congrats on a sick exhaust

thanks man, i can definately tell a huge difference in the quick ride down my street, and thats untuned, i cant wait till i can go riding next weekend since im working this weekend.
got the PCV installed with the HMF map provided by Steve at tech quad shop. ill post up a ride report after i ride on sunday, but the quick ride i went on after install this bike is a brand new beast.
well just got home from riding today, and let me say, its a whole new bike with all these parts installed. the bike still seems to still lack alittle in the bottom end, but just rips like a madman from mid to top. the tune i got from steve @ TQS feels spot on. no hiccups or feelings of the power falling off. albeit the HMF is pretty loud it still sounds great. i think i need to order some better tires now! i kept ripping the tires loose in the softer dirt when trying to launch
Sounds good....nice truck.
