Just tossing the idea around of using mobile 1 0w40 sythetic racing oil in the yfz's. just using it as motor oil not in the crankcase. Anyone ever try it out?

I wouldn't use it if it was regular motor oil. They're not made to be used in wet clutch applications like a 4 stroke motorcycle.

I do know that some auto parts stores stock Mobil 1 4 stroke oil though, but I'm not sure about that weight.

Uuuuuuhhhh, the YFZ uses the same oil throughout the whole engine. It doesn't have seperate oil compartments like the Honda motors do.

But if you're gonna run Mobil 1, just make sure the oil you get doesn't have friction modifiers in it. If it has friction modifiers, they will cause your clutch to slip.
