I'm thinking it won't be worth it- maybe a horsepower or two, but you'll more than likely need race gas.

You are right it adds 1.5-3 HP, but it makes it much snappier and rev harder. Race gas is up to you, but I ran one today in 106 deg heat on 91 oct, no problems and we ran it strait for 6hrs, only stopping for gas.

Didn't do an extensive search, but here are prices for a Weisco on the YZ 450 MC. They seem to be about the same.
