Was out the other night on my YFZ450R & the Engine Management Light Started Flashing, so I counted the number of Flashes (6) and refered to the Vortex Ignitions Fault Code chart.

As I run the Vortex ECU.

It states MAP Sensor input Voltage High:

MAP Connector unplugged
MAP Wiring Short or Open Circuit
MAP Sensor Faulty


Can somebody point me in the right direction of where to look or even post a picture of where it's located please.

But off subject but my rear signal/indicator broke off while out riding so just the the + & - wires are just hanging at the moment so was wondering could this be the cause of the high voltage fault code???

It has nothing to do about your rear light.

Take off your seat, and you can see on the left side, right over the throttle body, there is a black 2-pin connector connected to a little sensor. There is also a little hose connected under the sensor. That is your map sensor. check the hose, and your wires.
It´s prossibly not the sensor itself that is coursing the failure
