[outerlimits]

Im looking to install a light bar with the following specs. Ive been searching the forums and web for hours trying to find the correct way to do this without interrupting the flow of the electrical system on my 2008 YFZ. I will only be running the led light bar while the stock lights are shut off.

Specs
Led Power: 72W
Operating Voltage:9-32V DC
Amp Draw: 6A /12V and 3A /24V

If i install this light bar, should i connect it to the stator, or should i connect it directly to the battery?

Will it eventually drain my battery, or will it kill my stator?

Any tips?

I believe project_yfz runs the same spec light bar on his 05, he helped me with my installation! I removed my headlights and spliced one of the wires that supplies power to the foctory headlights so when I can still use my factory light switch . Not the best at electrical.
