To the best of my knowledge, the unit offered by GYTR is plug and play. No splicing.

What are are some good kill switches for a 14R. How hard are they to install?

X2! The GYTR is extremely easy to install and works great. Only issue I encountered was installing on Flexx bars. These bars have a larger diameter than OEM bars so I had to purchase longer bolts from ACE to get it to fit properly. Oem bars would be no problem.
