Kickstart
Is there anyone out there that runs the kickstart with heal guards? I like heal guards, but I want to go to kickstart and I don't know if it will clear.

i couldnt clear my ims heel guards i had.

It looks like a '98 YZ250 lever to me.
Looks like the kicker would come down right on top of the heal guard to me. Is it harder to kick with that shorter one?
I do have access to a TIG and my buddy is an awesome fabricator, I am sure we could cut the heal guard off and tilt it back a little......but then that will prolly look like ass.

i think gytr has heel guards made for there kicker.
gytr does have heelguards for a kicker. but then he would have to get new nerfs and heelguards!
GYTR nerfs are junk.....I have seen many sets break.

I can hear the kicker bottoming out on the actual nerfs but it doesnt affect starting.

I cant get pics but I just went out and investigated the kickstarter.... it clears the heel guards by at LEAST 3 inches... and I noticed my heel of my shoe does his the top of the heel guard on the nerf...BUT, I havent had an issue starting it, it turns enough to start is easily... but maybe you will.. I wear a size 13 shoe.

I really want to ditch the battery and starter crap and gut my harness, but I also want to keep my heal guards because I ride on the back of the pegs and move my feet around a lot.
No idea what kind of kicker it is.. I bought the kit used on here last year.
Anyone know if the Blingstar or Pro Armor ones work? ..or if the aforementioned ones suck, in which case I won't want them.
I have GYTR nerfs now that came with the quad, but it only has the stock plastic heel guards. I'd like to get a new set of nerfs/heel guards/foot pegs, so any advice on a durable brand would be awesome.
