I'm sure I've read about this in previous posts, but just couldn't find it. Does anyone have the Yamaha part number for the kick start assembly? Or a cost?

I've also read that the arm comes into contact with some pipes, like the Sparks pipe (I don't know, just what I've read). Does anyone know if that's true for most pipes, or just a few particulars?

Last - does the cam mod affect the decompression tab enough to the point that putting the kick start on the bike is a waste of time, or will it still work same as usual?

Thanks in Advance.....

GYT5TG072000 Kick shaft kit (internal comp). 92.00
GYT5TG073000 Kick crank kit (kick arm and boss) 130.00

The only people I am aware of that have put on a kick starter have used the stock YZ450 kick arm which is much longer and very different in shape then what the Yamaha will be.

One requirement with the kick starter is setting the cam to YZ spec. This will give the proper kick ratio for easy kicking, otherwise it is very hard to kick over.
