I believe that there might be other years that will work. It would just be a matter of buying them used of Ebay and discover what else might work...if you can afford it.

I know for a fact that Chance's lever isn't a '98 one. I forget what year he told me it was, but he could have changed it out for some reason.

mines a 92. looks exactly like grants from the pics i have seen. cleared the fender by the same length and everything.

i know of a guy on tech who used a 91. so im thinking 91-98 will work for sure. if it looks the same it prob is

Just make sure you get one for the 2-stroke YZ250. The YZ250F is different.
