I have a 09 efi yfz450r that I'm looking to narrow for XC next year. If anyone has an a-arms, shock setups, rear axle ect. please let me know. I might just have my R-shocks sent to BNR to have them re-do them but I will need a-arms, rear link ect. Thanks.

why are you getting rid of-the precisions? Your want that settup for xc

I'd aim for Motowoz, Custom Axis, or Elka Stage 4 shocks and sell the R-shocks if you're planning to chase the podium. HR makes very nice XC Long Travel a-arms that come with needle bearings and the necessary caster bracket to fix the known geometry issue. The stock axle with YFZx hubs will make it narrower, but if your stock axle is already bent look into the Dominator II axle. I'd also look into Motowoz/Precision stabilizers if you haven't done so already along with the MAKO360 bar clamp.

People are also pressing out the studs in rear hubs and flipping the whole assembly to narrow things up

If I were too make my R xc ready would it play a big effect on how fast I am on the track with it?

I just put some carb yfz rear hubs on it yesterday. saved 2'' but I think I might still have to get a rear axle. I'm not fast but i'm also not the slowest either. I'm old and like to have fun but I cannot turn off the competitive side of my brain. I'll be in the 30+ class for 2023. looking for houser or LS a-arms, rear link, I believe I'm going to send my stock R shocks to BNR to have them taken care of

If you're going to purchase a-arms go with long travel and bypass all the 2nd guessing sticking with standard travel especially if you have a competitive side, you can't switch off. The Houser Balance link is also the way to go if you set on upgrading.
