all the oil lines use a dowel pin to mount, if he happened to drop one down inside the crank itll chew it up and possibly damage the rank, but this should be his responsibilty.

i dont think the dowel fell in the engine... i think it probably fell out the sides (like where the oil lines hook) and the dealership guy said "it fell out of the motor, it should be between here and here) then charged the kid to "check" that it was still in there.I hope that dowel didn't go somewhere else like between the case halves... :shocker:[/b]
