I'd like to make sure I do nothing to shorten the life of my YFZ's motor even if it means not going as fast. I don't know much about engines so does anyone know if its possible to shorten the life of the motor by doing the cam mod?

yes it will because once you ride it & feel the difference of power you will never want to get off of it therefore riding it more wear out engine faster :lol :lol otherwise no

Is the power gains of the cam mod that much better than stock. Will i still have the bottom end that i have now?
