I have a 2022 yfz450r se in which I added a full Dasa exhaust and am now having trouble installing my fuel custom intake smh it seems to be such a tight fit with not much room to actually get hands on does any one have a video or some type of advice for me to install it
I’m also doing a (AIS delete, emergency brake delete, speed sensor delete with a breather box all 38 motorsprots) does any one have any help or knowledge they can share
Currently out of Ohio so if there’s a place I can take my bike feel free to send location my way thanks

I think a lot of people have trouble putting on the fci on the 450r model. So i would just take ur time putting it on. Is it hitting somewhere or somewhere its not letting it go in?

Yea it seems to feel like it’s hitting on the frame bolt or as if the wire harness shooting towards the back is in the way
Maybe unbolt the shock from the top to have more space? Dont really know too much abt the 450r's. Maybe some of the 450r guys can help??

I had a very difficult time installing on my last machine. I was pretty disappointed with it actually, for the money, the quality just didn’t seem to be there. This time around I went with a trash panda intake from bnr. Much easier install, and it will definitely keep more dirt and debris away from the filter because It uses the stock air box. The fci intake also seemed to allow alot more dirt and debris inside the actual box, because of how it fit.

I put a rp on for a buddy and liked it. I have a fci and didn’t have a major issue installing. It’s a tight fit but it’s not rubbing anywhere

Where are you located out of maybe I can pay you to do mines I can’t find any one out in Ohio I’ve only been here 8 months so I just work and go home
Or do you have a what’s app?? I can contqct you at
I took off the rubber piece at the end of the "air horn," and I put the rubber piece on the fitting on the machine (engine) and tightened it down. Then I slid on the air horn into the rubber piece then tightened the Allen screw and the clamp. It took me forever to put it on, about 2hrs to figure it out. I thought it would be much easier. This was my first time working on any machine of any kind so Like some once said if I can do, I can do. Hope this helps.

Hi Chris, A lot of times when the FCI doesn't fit like a glove the throttle body is tilted from the factory. Once you straighten the throttle body you should gain the clearance needed to properly install the FCI.
