How To Allign The Front Wheels And Rear Axle

I just put a new axle in the rear. How can i check to see if its alligned right? And how do i check to see if the front out of allignment?

You can't align the rear axle. Once it's in, it's in. As for the fronts, I've always just eye-balled them.
ok thanks sidewinder. ever hear of anyone using measuring tape and making the rear 1/4 in shorter than the front
You can measure your width from the outside of the tires and see that way.. As far as the front i just measure my camber and toe and have my castor adjusted forward for better turning...
to check your "front" toe allignment

tie a string around your entire quad (yarn works fine) and adjust your tie rods so that the back of the front wheel (sounds confusing think about it for a second) is BARLEY touching the string. Then adjust the tie-rod so that your about .25in toed in. To measure the toe just measure the distance from the front of the two front tires. it should be about .25in LESS than the rear of the front two tires.

Make sure some one is holding your handle bars str8 white you are making the adjustments, or if your alone strap it to the grab bar real tight so it does not move.

yeah thanks that worked great. I dont have to fight the bars as much now. mine was 3/4in. off
no problem, my cousins whats 4 inchs off from "eye ballin it" haha
