After you remove the Stem, there's a Bearing Retainer that needs to be unscrewed from the top of the frame brace, this is where the Damper rod holder comes in handy. I happened to have a Large Bolt head that fit this perfectly into the hex hole. after removing the retainer, the Stem Bearing can be removed next.
(Same setup as the Banshee)

Damper rod holder (30 mm)
This tool is needed to loosen and tighten
the steering stem bearing retainer.
