After you remove the Stem, there's a Bearing Retainer that needs to be unscrewed from the top of the frame brace, this is where the Damper rod holder comes in handy. I happened to have a Large Bolt head that fit this perfectly into the hex hole. after removing the retainer, the Stem Bearing can be removed next.
(Same setup as the Banshee)
