Helmet Cam Test Run

Video looks great man. Is that ALL that your property? Great place to practice your GNCC skills for sure. Careful though, that tree 2 and a half minutes in may get revenge on you someday or just ask some of his bigger friends! :clap:


All these videos on here with everyone's new GoPro makes me wish I could test drive mine. I suppose I could wear the helmet while I am wrenching the bike back together. I am guessing that wouldn't make for the most entertaining video to watch though. Unless you want to brush up on your vulgar language skills! hahaha :mhihi:

yea, my parent have 70acres, my bother built a house on one corner (the one with the concrete driveway, and the orange truck) my other brother and sister live in the two apartments above that big ass garage, and me and my girlfriend are going to build out there. there are a lot of trials, but hopefully will have a lot more soon.

Looks good. Nice property. Your head sure stayed pretty still through the whole video. Also the angle made it kinda look like the front wheels were always off the ground..lol

thats cause he was always on the throttle! :mhihi:

i wouldnt say they were always off the ground, they did touch down here any there to help steer.

yea, it started working this morning, took a while to upload last night, so when i posted this, i guess it was still processing or something.

I wonder how it would record if you mounted it on the handle bars? i know the body absorbs alot of the shock and is why it records half way smooth. Mabey if it was on the bars it would be moving alot? Cool vid though. few more weeks and i should have mine.

it would probably bounce about the same amount, i think if it wasnt for the helmet and a little of the quad being in the picture, the shaking would be alot more noticable, i want to get a bar clamp, play around with different angles, mount it on someone elses grab bar and follow them, mount it on the frame in places to catch different parts of the quad in motion, could even mount it on the front bumper looking back at you, lots you can do with something like that.

Where did you get yours and how much did you pay? I see that they have them at rockymountain and there 199. I was thinking about getting one to.

same camera on ebay for $155 with free shipping brand new.

level, play around with some different mounting points, and post more, now you have really sparked my curiosity. wish i had mine on saturday for my stoppie inccedent

one of our fine site sponsors, woodward specialties, has been having a sale for the last 2-3 months, they were 150 shipped to your door, i know a bunch of guys got them. paul still carries them, but i dont think they are that cheap anymore, shoot him an email or check his site for a price.
